Laying Whippet Statue

This original 3D-printed statue captures the relaxed pose of a Whippet at rest, modeled after one of my own dogs.

With its stretched limbs and gentle posture, the figure reflects that familiar calm and slightly watchful vibe that sighthounds do so well. I designed this piece to balance realism and simplicity, keeping the form elegant while making it print-friendly.

Printed on my Bambu Lab P1S in Marble PLA using a 0.4 mm nozzle at 0.08 mm layer height, the model has a smooth, stone-like finish. Light sanding helps enhance the silhouette and bring out the surface detail.

Each print is made to order in Oshawa, Ontario.
